Alright, my lovely Tentacles, this hidden object point and click puzzler was a quickie. I picked it up as part of a pack of six games on a Steam sale a while back when I was looking for something mind numbing to play when I didn’t want to deal with anything hard – and this little guy delivered.
I know most of you have probably played games like this, most likely through something like Big Fish. A lot of these little adventure games are common to mobile devices, but I snagged it for PC. It is an adventure puzzler with a cute little story line about trying to save some kidnapped children from fairy tale villains. We have a plucky heroine (a child psychologist, natch) who’s wits and puzzle solving skills save the day.

The game art is really quite beautiful with lots of colorful levels that made me look forward to the next step in the adventure to see where we went next. The story isn’t going to win any awards for originality, but I was here for the puzzles anyway. Many of the scenes were based on fairy tales, which is always a win in my book. The puzzles were challenging but nothing mind blowing, and refreshingly not repetitive. Honestly, it was the perfect way to spend a few hours after a really difficult week.
Pick this guy up on sale if you’re into relaxation gaming!
